Lightware Visual Engineering has launched the Taurus TPN and Gemini GVN switchers, designed for critical AV-over-IP installations. A switcher allows multiple devices — like computers, cameras, or displays — to connect and share video and audio signals, simplifying control and routing in AV setups.

The Taurus TPN is built for large meeting rooms, boardrooms and conference spaces, enabling seamless switching between devices using both USB-C and AV-over-IP (10G) technology. It supports 4K resolution at 60Hz, delivering high-quality video over distances up to 100 meters.

For more complex setups, the Gemini GVN operates on a 1G Ethernet network, using less power (~10W) while handling 4K video. It includes advanced video scaling capabilities, ensuring smooth signal transmission over both CAT cables (up to 100 meters) and fiber optics (up to 10 kilometers). This makes it ideal for environments like control rooms and broadcast centers.

Both switchers support 4K HDR content, can be managed via Lightware’s Device Controller software, and are designed to deliver reliable, high-quality video in demanding applications.
