Powersoft Launches DC Rider Amplifier for Theme Parks and High-Vibration Environments

Powersoft has unveiled the DC Rider, a new DC-powered amplifier designed to handle the demanding conditions of theme park rides and other high-vibration settings. This rugged platform is built to automotive standards, making it ideal for installations on rollercoasters, outdoor attractions, and other high-intensity environments.

Available in eight- and sixteen-channel versions, DC Rider combines compact design and lightweight construction with the same features found in Powersoft’s other amplifiers. It includes integrated DSP for full audio control, AES67 audio-over-IP compatibility, and power-sharing capabilities to drive subwoofers, speakers, and haptic transducers.

By incorporating built-in DSP, the DC Rider streamlines installations by eliminating the need for external processors. It provides control over sound with features like channel EQ, filtering, and delay management, ensuring precise audio delivery. AES67 support enables seamless integration in complex setups, while advanced daisy-chaining and API options allow for third-party control and monitoring.

“The DC Rider is engineered to perform in environments where vibration and durability are non-negotiable,” said a Powersoft representative. “It’s designed to deliver powerful audio experiences, even in the most challenging conditions.”

With the introduction of DC Rider, Powersoft offers a resilient solution that elevates audio performance for visitor attractions and outdoor venues, ensuring immersive soundscapes wherever they’re needed.
