Shure has introduced its IntelliMix Room Kits, a modular Microsoft Teams Room solution designed for meeting spaces ranging from small huddle rooms to larger setups up to 33 x 18 feet. The kits combine audio, video, and computing components into a single solution aimed at improving meeting clarity and simplifying setup.
The IntelliMix Room software, pre-installed on the system’s Windows-based compute appliance, enhances speech intelligibility by reducing echo, noise, and reverb. It integrates with Shure’s MXA902 Ceiling Array Microphone and Loudspeaker without requiring manual adjustments, offering optimized audio for hybrid and in-person meetings.
The kits also include AI-powered Huddly video cameras equipped with features like Huddly Director and Group Framing, which automatically adjust to participants in the room for an improved video experience.
According to Shure, the IntelliMix Room Kits are easy to set up with Zero Touch Provisioning. Once connected, components such as the audio, video, touch panel, and compute device automatically configure themselves. Users can log in with a Microsoft Teams Room account or take advantage of Windows Autopilot for automatic login.
The IntelliMix Room Kits are designed to support AI-driven tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot, which rely on clear audio input for accurate transcriptions, summaries, and action item tracking.
This modular solution aims to provide businesses with a scalable option for enhancing collaboration and communication in hybrid work environments.
