Panasonic Connect has introduced the AW-UE150AW/AK 4K PTZ camera designed to meet the needs of broadcasters and content creators, including those in esports and virtual production.
The UE150AW/AK supports NDI High Bandwidth for low-latency, IP-based 4K video transmission, alongside existing compatibility with SRT and NDI® HX2 protocols. This ensures reliable performance, even in challenging network environments. It also offers multiple output options, including 12G-SDI, 2x 3G-SDI, HDMI, and fiber.
Equipped with a 1.0-type 4K MOS sensor, the UE150AW/AK features a wide-angle lens (75.1° horizontal) with 20x optical zoom and built-in auto-tracking functionality.
To reduce luminance and color moiré when capturing monitors or LED walls, the camera incorporates an optical low-pass filter (OLPF). Its HDR (HLG) compatibility enhances color accuracy, making it suitable for virtual production applications.
Additionally, the UE150AW/AK includes an Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) to minimize image shake during pan and tilt movements. The camera also benefits from improved synchronization of pan, tilt, and zoom presets, ensuring smoother operation.
