Tascam announced the RX-BT10, a professional Bluetooth receiver that allows audio from Bluetooth devices—such as smartphones and tablets—to be integrated into existing sound systems. Designed for mobile and installed sound reinforcement systems, the RX-BT10 features a rugged design and balanced XLR outputs for easy connection to mixing consoles or power amplifiers.
A key feature of the RX-BT10 is support for Bluetooth 5.1 (Class 1), which enables stable wireless connections over distances up to 100 meters. Both the antenna and Bluetooth pairing button can be extended, allowing them to be placed in accessible or optimal locations for installation.
The receiver provides multiple output options, including balanced XLR connectors and unbalanced RCA jacks. A stereo/mono switch lets users preserve the stereo field of the source material or sum the audio to mono as needed.
Mounting points are included for fixed installations, along with a bracket kit for shelf or under-desk mounting. Tascam also offers the optional AK-RS1, a kit for mounting two units side by side in a rack.
