Powersoft to Debut Pocket-Sized Nota 142 Amplifier at InfoComm 2025

Powersoft will debut the Nota 142, an ultra-compact PoE/PoE+ audio amplifier designed for networked AV environments, at InfoComm 2025 in Orlando. Engineered for space-constrained installations, the 140-watt amplifier is plenum-rated and built with commercial, conferencing, and retrofit projects in mind.

Delivering 140W across two channels, Nota 142 is purpose-built for commercial, conferencing, and retrofit installations where space and simplicity are priorities. Its ability to transmit power and data over a single Ethernet cable helps streamline deployment and reduce infrastructure costs. No specialized training is required, making it a flexible, accessible solution for integrators.

Nota 142 includes onboard DSP and speaker health monitoring to maintain optimized audio performance. The unit is fully controllable through Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus software and third-party APIs, allowing for detailed system configuration and management. A USB-C port enables simple connection to external multimedia devices and also allows the device to function as a USB-to-AES67 converter, enhancing interoperability across AV systems.

The amplifier also features automated setup that matches speaker impedance and applies a high-pass filter, protecting system components and ensuring clean, reliable sound. To support a variety of installation needs, the amplifier ships with accessories that allow mounting on flat surfaces, poles or DIN rails. Remote system diagnostics and monitoring are available through Powersoft’s Verso gateway and MyUniverso platform.
