beyerdynamic has introduced the DT 270 PRO, a compact addition to its PRO headphone range designed for musicians, creators, and studio professionals seeking studio-quality sound in a more portable form.
Developed in Germany, the DT 270 PRO delivers the detailed and balanced sound signature associated with beyerdynamic’s PRO lineup, offering clear highs, defined mids, and tight bass response. With an impedance of 45 ohms, the headphones perform consistently across devices including laptops, tablets, smartphones, and audio interfaces, making them suitable for both professional and casual listening environments.

“The DT 270 PRO brings beyerdynamic’s studio expertise into a more compact and accessible format,” said Andreas Rapp, CEO of beyerdynamic. “Designed with the same standards of comfort, durability, and sound quality that our PRO series is known for, it allows creators at any level to work confidently and reliably, whether at home, in the studio, or on the move.”
The lightweight design is just 194 grams and features soft velour ear pads and a padded headband for comfort during long sessions. Built with a spring-steel reinforced headband and high-grade plastic housing, the headphones are engineered for daily use at home, in the studio, or in classrooms. A detachable coiled cable connects to either ear cup for flexible setup, and a USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter enables compatibility with modern mobile devices.
Priced at $159.99 USD and $199.99 CAD, the DT 270 PRO is available now through beyerdynamic.com and authorized retailers. Each pair includes a coiled cable (extendable to 3 meters), a 6.35 mm jack adapter, a USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter, and a drawstring pouch.
