Bang & Olufsen is celebrating its 100th anniversary with The Centennial Collection, a special-edition release that reimagines three of the brand’s most iconic products — Beoplay H100 headphones, Beosound A5 portable speaker, and Beosound A9 (5th Gen) wireless speaker.
Each product in the collection combines archival design details with modern craftsmanship, showcasing the company’s century-long commitment to innovation in sound and design. The collection features colorways inspired by Bang & Olufsen’s defining decades — Century Red, Chestnut Brown, and Century Blue — paying tribute to milestones in audio technology and industrial design.
“Since our founding in 1925, timeless design has been at the heart of everything we craft. The Centennial Collection honours our past, celebrates our present, and looks to the future. It is a tribute to the icons that have shaped Bang & Olufsen and to the enduring values that define our legacy,” says Kristian Teär, CEO of Bang & Olufsen.
The Beoplay H100 Century Brown headphones feature titanium drivers, Dolby Atmos optimization, and advanced noise cancellation. Their design includes a Century Red leather headband, Chestnut Brown ear cushions, and Century Blue detailing, all complemented by an engraved anniversary logo and matching leather pouch.
The Beosound A5 Century Weave portable speaker blends powerful sound performance with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, long battery life, and wireless charging. The special edition showcases a paper raffia weave inspired by the checkered radio grilles of the 1950s, paired with a brushed aluminum frame and Century Red leather strap.
The Beosound A9 Century Blue speaker, known for its sculptural form and seven-driver audio system, is finished in Kvadrat’s Centennial Cadence fabric, a checkered weave in Century Blue and Chestnut Brown. The natural aluminum frame and legs feature a brushed finish inspired by the brand’s 1980s designs, with subtle anniversary engravings throughout.
The Centennial Collection, which includes the Beosound A5 Century Weave (RRP $1,750), Beoplay A9 Century Blue (RRP $5,500) and Beoplay H100 Century Brown (RRP $2,300), will be available beginning Oct. 22 at select Bang & Olufsen stores and online at bang-olufsen.com.
