Zones, a global provider of end-to-end IT solutions and managed services, has officially entered the professional AV market. The announcement was made during the company’s Customer Connect tech experience event at the Porsche Center in Atlanta.
“There’s never been a better time for Zones to expand into ProAV,” said Doug Eckrote, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Zones. “AV technology is networked, software-driven, and cloud-enabled, making it a strategic extension of our IT solutions portfolio. Our customers no longer want to manage AV and IT separately; they want a trusted partner who can integrate both seamlessly.”
As part of the launch, Zones is hiring a dedicated ProAV category manager and has identified four key initial markets: Southern California, Dallas, Cincinnati and Atlanta.
Building on its strength in cloud, networking, security and device management, Zones will begin its ProAV expansion in the retail and quick-service restaurant (QSR) sectors, where the company already has established expertise. The focus will be on delivering unified IT and AV solutions designed to enhance digital signage, customer engagement and connected experiences.
Eckrote said the move allows Zones to help retail and QSR chains modernize their environments and improve branding consistency. “Zones can alleviate these pain points with everything from turnkey digital signage and 24×7 monitoring to content management and reliable support services. At the same time, we bring together certified specialists and top technology, logistics and lifecycle management, all under one unified platform.”
Zones’ entry into ProAV extends its established four business practices: Cloud & Data Center, Digital Workplace, Networking and Security. With operations in more than 150 countries, the company says it can deliver localized AV and IT solutions at global scale.
