ViewSonic Expands Projector Lineup with High-Brightness, Energy-Efficient Laser Models

ViewSonic has expanded its Luminous Superior (LS) Series of lamp-free projectors with the introduction of two new laser models, the LSD400HD and LSD401HD. Both projectors deliver 4,000 ANSI lumens of brightness in Full HD (1080p) resolution and are designed for large-scale, high-usage commercial and simulation applications.

According to ViewSonic, the new models consume up to 59% less power than comparable lamp-based units. Each projector uses laser phosphor technology rated for up to 30,000 hours of light source life, reducing maintenance requirements and eliminating the need for mercury-based lamps.

“The market is decisively moving toward lamp-free projection, and ViewSonic is making these highperformance laser solutions accessible without compromise,” said Dean Tsai, General Manager of
ProAV Solutions Business Unit at ViewSonic. “These new models reinforce our ESG commitment. By
combining consistent brightness, high reliability for day-to-day operation, and lower power
consumption, we deliver sustainable visual technology that is practical and versatile for any
professional setting.”

The LSD401HD supports LAN control and is certified for compatibility with Crestron and Q-SYS platforms, allowing it to integrate with enterprise AV systems and enable centralized management across multi-room installations. Deployment flexibility is further supported with 360-degree projection, horizontal and vertical keystone correction, and four-corner adjustment for quick image alignment on non-standard surfaces.

Beyond mainstay commercial use, the LS Series also supports creative applications in retail, entertainment, and sports simulation. A dedicated Golf Mode adjusts color and brightness to replicate realistic lighting conditions, providing lifelike visuals in both professional and home simulation setups.

The LSD400HD and LSD401HD are now available globally through authorized ViewSonic resellers.
