Carousel has announced a collaboration with Amazon Signage to make its digital signage content management system (CMS) compatible with the Amazon Signage Stick, a media player designed to simplify and scale screen deployments for organizations of all sizes.
The partnership allows users to pair Carousel’s CMS with Amazon’s plug-and-play hardware, making it possible to set up and manage digital signage displays without technical expertise. After connecting the Signage Stick to a compatible display, users can select it from the Amazon Signage mobile app, choose Carousel from the CMS list, and complete authentication directly within Carousel’s platform. Each display uses one Signage Stick, enabling users to expand deployments across multiple screens and locations.
“The Amazon Signage Stick hits the exact right mix of scalability, reliability, and affordability that is a perfect fit for Carousel,” said John Reilly, chief operating officer of Carousel. “Together with the Amazon Signage mobile app, you can now easily deploy and manage enterprise-grade digital signage throughout your entire facility or campus in mere minutes, while also relying on the rock-solid multi-user content creation and approval workflows delivered by Carousel.”
Carousel stated that the collaboration supports its focus on helping organizations share information across classrooms, meeting spaces, and municipal buildings by pairing its CMS with Amazon Signage’s hardware platform.
