Theory Audio Design has extended the warranty for all DLC loudspeaker controllers from three years to five years, aligning coverage with its loudspeaker products. The change is effective immediately, the company announced.
Theory says its loudspeaker controllers and loudspeakers are developed together and function as a system. The company describes its approach as using a dedicated DSP amplifier that processes and optimizes the audio signal for each Theory loudspeaker model.
The company said the updated warranty reflects its confidence in the durability and reliability of its components, manufacturing processes, and quality control practices.
“Our commitment to our customers goes beyond the initial purchase,” said Marc Bertrand, CSO for Theory. “Offering a five-year warranty on Theory amplifiers and speakers provides our customers peace of mind that they are installing robust, long-lasting systems for any application—be it residential, commercial, or live sound.”
Theory says that the extended coverage is intended to give customers consistent warranty terms across its loudspeakers and DLC controllers.
