Humly has added QR code booking to its Humly Reservations software, extending its workplace booking ecosystem to support instant reservations from personal devices without requiring additional hardware or mobile apps.
The new Humly QR Code feature, now available and debuting at ISE 2026, allows users to book shared resources such as meeting rooms, desks, phone booths and parking spaces by scanning a QR code with a smartphone. Once scanned, the Humly Reservations interface opens in a mobile browser, showing real-time availability and enabling immediate or future bookings.
At ISE 2026, visitors to Humly’s stand (2W300) can view demonstrations showing how each QR code links to a specific space within an office building, campus or other facility. Users can confirm availability, review upcoming reservations or select alternative spaces if their first choice is unavailable.
The QR code booking feature also allows users to edit existing bookings and view nearby space availability. For administrators, QR codes can be created, downloaded and managed through the Humly Control Panel. Codes can be set as static for fixed resources or dynamic for flexible environments, allowing updates without replacing printed codes.
“Humly QR Booking is another step toward workplaces that simply work, and seamlessly fit into the flow of wherever and however work,” said Anders Karlsson, CEO, Humly. “It is perfect for organizations that want the same seamless experience as Humly Room Display or Humly Booking Device, but no additional hardware, setup time, or integration expense. The result is a lightweight, reliable, and secure booking option that extends the Humly ecosystem and accelerates the booking experience.”
ISE 2026 takes place Feb. 3–6 at the Fira de Barcelona.
