Sony Introduces Crystal LED S Series dvLED Displays for Mid-Market Applications

Sony has announced two new direct-view LED displays with the introduction of the Crystal LED S Series, expanding its dvLED lineup with mid-market options designed for corporate, education and commercial environments.

The Crystal LED S Series includes the ZRD-S12G and ZRD-S15G models, which feature 800 cd/m² of maximum brightness and pixel pitches of 1.25 mm and 1.56 mm, respectively. Sony said the displays are designed to deliver high visibility in brightly lit spaces while maintaining accurate color reproduction and low reflection. The models are planned to be available in late spring 2026.

“The S Series furthers Sony’s longstanding commitment to offering advanced technology with high image quality, exceptional visibility, flexible integration capabilities, and long-term reliability – all of which provide our customers with inspiring visual experiences that offer value, while enabling creativity,” said Rik Willemse, head of professional displays and solutions at Sony Europe. “With these new models, Sony is strategically expanding our display lineup to ensure we have the right choices to address common requests, support varying budgets, provide a range of options, and ensure consistency that bridges the gap between our BRAVIA professional displays and dvLED products.”

The Crystal LED S Series incorporates Sony’s Anti-Reflection Surface Technology, also used in the company’s BH Series Crystal LED displays. Sony said the technology helps maintain image clarity and accurate color reproduction in environments with ambient light or large windows.

Designed for installation flexibility, the S Series features a slim cabinet with a depth of approximately 45 mm. Sony said the displays can support European Accessibility Act compliance when paired with appropriate wall-mount frames. The models are also compatible with NovaStar COEX MX30 and MX40 Pro controllers, allowing cabinet-to-controller distances of up to 100 meters.

Sony said the Crystal LED S Series is engineered for long-term use, citing energy-efficient operation, low power consumption and surface protection designed to reduce accidental contact. Pre-calibrated modules are intended to simplify installation and maintenance.

The S Series features a bezel-free, modular design that allows integrators to build seamless video walls in a variety of sizes and configurations.

Sony plans to showcase the Crystal LED S Series at Integrated Systems Europe 2026 in Barcelona, Feb. 3–6, and at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas, June 17–19.
