PPDS has introduced the Philips LED Configurator, a new platform designed to help partners design, visualize and manage Philips dvLED video wall installations.
Unveiled at ISE 2026 in Barcelona, the online tool allows users to configure complete LED wall systems using Philips Professional Displays components, including panels, mounts, brackets, cables and control boxes.
The Philips LED Configurator is available free to PPDS partners and customers worldwide and is intended to simplify the process of planning and delivering dvLED installations. According to the company, the platform allows users to create detailed visual representations of LED wall designs while selecting technical specifications such as size, pixel pitch, brightness and refresh rate.
PPDS said the platform integrates components from multiple AV manufacturers, enabling users to include mounting systems, cabling, light sensors and finishing kits as part of the design process. This approach is intended to help ensure compatibility between components and reduce the time required to research additional hardware for installations.
The configurator provides a visual preview of the complete LED wall design, allowing partners and customers to review the configuration before finalizing project plans.
Marco van der Knaap, Head of Strategy and Transformation Philips dvLED at PPDS, commented: “The journey from creation to installation of LED walls can sometimes be a complex, and frustrating, experience, with many aspects to consider. Having worked in this space for over 25 years, I have seen and experienced them all, and these provided the foundations for the new Philips LED Configurator. We have designed the platform to be easy to use and virtually foolproof, with the intuitive menus making the entire process – from selection to design – universally usable.”
The platform also supports project management functions, including estimated component costs and configuration summaries that can be incorporated into larger project proposals.
PPDS said a standard version of the configurator will also be accessible through its website, with project submissions reviewed and referred to appropriate certified PPDS partners.
“The new platform provides a fast and simple opportunity for customers to take control of their ambitions, to experiment with ideas, and then, should they wish, to take things to the next stage with formal and detailed discussions around the project,” said Jae O Choi Park, EMEA Commercial Head at PPDS.
PPDS will demonstrate the Philips LED Configurator at booth 3N500 during ISE 2026.
