Pleneo has introduced Pleneo Planner, an online tool designed to help resellers and end users design meeting spaces and generate AV system plans more quickly.
The platform allows users to input room dimensions and automatically generate a layout based on industry standards, including placement of microphones, cameras, loudspeakers and processing.
The tool uses standards from AVIXA to determine coverage, sightlines and system performance, according to the company.
Pleneo Planner provides a 3D environment where users can visualize microphone pickup, speaker coverage and camera fields of view in real time. Users can also view the room from the camera’s perspective and make adjustments to system components with immediate feedback.
In addition to design, the platform generates project documentation, including bills of materials, wiring diagrams and presentation-ready visuals.
The tool supports both Pleneo and selected third-party components, allowing users to compare different system configurations within the same space.
