Pure Resonance Audio has introduced the WTX1, a wireless transmitter and receiver system designed to convert wired microphones and other audio sources into wireless setups.
The system uses a plug-on transmitter and receiver design, allowing users to connect directly to XLR microphones and audio inputs without the need for bodypacks or additional cabling.
The company said the WTX1 is intended for applications including presentations, live sound events, installations and portable PA systems.
The transmitter connects to a microphone or compatible audio source, while the receiver plugs into a mixer, powered speaker or other input. Adapters are included to support ¼-inch TS connections, allowing the system to be used with a wider range of audio devices.
The WTX1 operates in the UHF band and includes multiple selectable channels designed to support stable wireless performance. Built-in displays provide information such as battery status, signal strength and frequency.
Pure Resonance Audio said the system also supports microphone and line-level inputs, along with optional phantom power, enabling compatibility with a range of microphone types.
The system uses rechargeable batteries designed for portable operation in professional audio environments.
“The WTX1 was designed to give customers a simple and reliable way to add wireless capability to the audio equipment they already trust,” said a product line manager at Pure Resonance Audio.
The WTX1 is now available.
