AVer Information Inc. has introduced the MT500, a 4K AI-powered matrix auto tracking box designed to centralize and automate multi-camera production in large environments.
The MT500 is built for lecture halls, divisible rooms, corporate boardrooms and enterprise production spaces. It combines AI-based camera switching, dual 4K outputs and support for AV-over-IP technologies including NDI, Dante and Dante AV-H.
“The MT500 addresses the need for consistent, automated multi-camera production in environments where dedicated operators are not always available,” said Katie Sullivan, Senior Product Manager for AVer Information Inc. USA.
The MT500 uses AI-based auto switching to reduce manual camera operation. FaceFocus selects a camera view that shows the active speaker’s face, while IntelliSwitch manages transitions between cameras. InstaConfig analyzes connected cameras and microphones and suggests configuration settings during setup.
The system supports dual independent 4K outputs, allowing simultaneous in-room display and recording, streaming or remote participation. AVer said this setup can support multiple outputs without requiring additional signal processing hardware.
Connectivity includes three HDMI inputs, two USB inputs and support for up to 25 IP stream inputs. Output options include HDMI, USB and IP-based connections.
The MT500 also supports AV-over-IP integration with NDI HX2, NDI HX3, Dante and Dante AV-H, enabling audio and video distribution across networked systems. Additional features include an 8-channel matrix audio mixer, XLR inputs and USB audio bypass.
The system is managed through a web-based interface and supports control protocols including VISCA over IP and CGI. It also includes an onboard display and front-panel controls for local management.
The MT500 is compatible with AVer software tools and supports multiple installation options, including rack-mounted and under-table configurations. The system is NDAA- and TAA-compliant.
