Highlands Development Center, part of Viet Thai International, has upgraded the AV systems in its training and meeting spaces using Extron technologies. VTI is also the parent company of Highlands Coffee, one of Vietnam’s leading café brands.
The project modernized three training rooms and two meeting spaces at the company’s office in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, with the goal of improving collaboration, training workflows and room scheduling.
AV integrator Duy Hoa Phat Corporation designed and installed the system, which combines Extron AV switching, audio processing, control and room scheduling technologies across the facility.
The training rooms were designed to support flexible room configurations, allowing spaces to be combined or separated depending on the type of session being conducted. The system includes centralized AV control and touchpanel interfaces intended to simplify operation for trainers and staff.
Our goal was to deliver a seamless AV experience that would support both the operational needs and long-term vision of Highlands Coffee,” said Tran Chu Thuan, CEO of Duy Hoa Phat Corporation.
The installation includes Extron matrix switching, DSP processing, touchpanel control systems and room scheduling panels integrated throughout the facility.
In the meeting rooms, scheduling panels display room availability and allow users to make bookings directly from outside the space. Extron Room Agent software is used to synchronize room scheduling information with the organization’s calendar platform.
The company said the updated AV infrastructure has streamlined room management and reduced setup complexity for meetings and training sessions.
According to Duy Hoa Phat Corporation, the installation was completed over a three-month period and was designed to support future AV expansion as operational needs evolve.
