Klvr has launched in the United States with Charger Pro, a rechargeable battery system designed for professional audio and live event environments.
The system is intended for use in music venues, houses of worship, broadcast studios, conference halls, universities and other Pro AV spaces that rely on wireless microphones, in-ear monitors and other battery-powered audio devices.
Klvr Charger Pro includes a lightweight 19-inch rack-mounted charger with capacity for 48 AA and AAA batteries. The company said its 1.5V lithium-ion batteries are designed for professional audio use and can support up to 1,200 charging cycles.
The company said the system is designed to help AV teams reduce reliance on single-use batteries while improving predictability during live events.
“Houses of worship, concert halls and corporate venues rely on wireless mics and other devices every day, but using thousands of disposable batteries to keep them powered is expensive, unreliable and a constant headache,” said Stian Sagholen, CEO and Founder, Klvr.
Klvr said one pack of 48 batteries can eliminate the cost of up to 57,600 single-use batteries over its lifetime.
The system includes Klvr Control, which allows users to check battery levels, recharge times and settings from connected laptops. Klvr Charger Pro also includes a 48-battery pouch for touring, air travel and remote production use.
