BrightSign has introduced BrightSign Control Plus, a new premium tier of its device management platform designed to help organizations manage digital signage networks across multiple locations.
The cloud-based platform, announced ahead of InfoComm 2026, is intended for IT managers, system integrators and organizations that need greater visibility into large deployments of digital signage players.
According to BrightSign, Control Plus allows users to configure, monitor, update and schedule actions for fleets of players through a single dashboard. The platform also includes tools for device grouping, fleet-wide updates, remote troubleshooting and automated alerts.
The company said the new offering was developed in response to growing demand for easier management of distributed signage networks.
“We’re giving customers unparalleled choice of intelligent digital signage, built-in form factors, and new subscription services, regardless of how they operate,” said Steve Durkee, CEO of BrightSign. “This is all while maximizing the benefits of enterprise-grade performance, reliability, security, and scalability that make BrightSign the standard in digital signage.”
Alongside the launch, BrightSign announced updates to its software portfolio branding. The company’s existing management and content creation tools have been renamed under the BrightSign brand, including BrightSign Control, BrightSign Author and BrightSign Author Plus.
At InfoComm 2026, BrightSign will also highlight the continued expansion of its BrightSign Built-In ecosystem, which integrates BrightSignOS into displays from manufacturing partners. The company plans to showcase new BrightSign Built-In solutions, including the Sharp SDM Player with BrightSign Built-In.
Additional demonstrations at the company’s booth will focus on digital signage applications across retail, transportation, healthcare and quick-service restaurant environments. BrightSign will also showcase AI-related capabilities running on its media players, including applications designed to identify content issues such as blank screens and incorrect aspect ratios.
BrightSign will exhibit at InfoComm 2026 in booth C5301.
