RCF has launched the ART 8 Series, a new line of portable active loudspeakers available exclusively in the Americas. Designed for musicians, DJs, rental companies, venues, houses of worship and event professionals, the ART 8 Series is intended to deliver high output, clear audio and fast setup in a compact system.
The ART 8 Series is available with 10-inch, 12-inch and 15-inch woofers. Each model features high-grade transducers, True Resistive Waveguide technology, 1,400-watt Class D amplification and onboard DSP. The speakers also include FiRPHASE processing for linear phase response and XBOOST, which adds low-frequency output and can be activated from the rear panel.
RCF also designed the ART 8 Series to integrate with its ACE-enabled subwoofers. Beginning with the SUB AX Series, the company’s Advanced Crossover Engine (ACE) provides presets for ART 8 loudspeakers, allowing users to optimize time delay and phase alignment directly from the subwoofer interface.
The enclosures are based on the ART 9 Series design and feature reinforced composite construction, internal M-Brace reinforcement, a steel grille, ergonomic handles, a 35 mm pole mount and M10 rigging points. According to RCF, the loudspeakers can be used as main PA speakers, fill speakers or stage monitors.
