Lumens has introduced the VC-R32, a new HD IP PTZ camera designed for meeting rooms, classrooms, courtrooms, podcast studios and houses of worship. Replacing the VC-R31, the VC-R32 delivers 1080p video at up to 60 frames per second and adds RS-422 control and RS-232 over IP while maintaining simultaneous HDMI, USB 3.0 and IP video output.
The VC-R32 features a 1/2.8-inch image sensor, a 72.5-degree horizontal field of view and a 12x optical zoom lens. Built-in Auto Framing automatically adjusts the camera’s view to keep participants properly framed, while the wide-angle lens is designed to capture groups and room layouts.
The camera supports video output over HDMI, USB 3.0 and Ethernet, allowing it to be used for video conferencing, local display, recording and live streaming at the same time. Its IP output supports triple streaming as well as RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS and SRT protocols for integration with a variety of production and streaming workflows.
Additional features include ultra-silent PTZ motors, support for up to 256 preset camera positions and a single Ethernet connection that carries power, video, audio and control. The VC-R32 can be installed upright or inverted and is available in black and white finishes.
