Xyte Report Highlights Challenges Managing Multi-Vendor AV Environments

Xyte has released its AV Cloud Data Report, Midyear 2026: From Single Pane of Glass to Single Pane of Context, examining how enterprise AV and IT teams are managing increasingly complex, multi-vendor technology environments. The report combines industry polling from the AV Cloud Summit Spring 2026 with anonymized data from the Xyte platform to explore trends affecting AV operations and AI adoption.

According to the report, only 4% of respondents said their AV data is ready for AI workflows, while 68% described it as messy or siloed. Xyte also found that 94% of managed devices on its platform are deployed in multi-brand environments. In addition, an analysis of more than 6,000 offline incidents suggested that many “device-down” events were linked to broader room, network or site issues rather than individual device failures.

The report concludes that correlating information across devices, rooms, sites and cloud services can help organizations better understand the scope and likely cause of issues, making it easier to prioritize responses and support AI-assisted operations. It also examines how contextual data can identify operational patterns, including energy usage and recurring system issues, that may not be apparent through device monitoring alone.
