ProMedia Training has become the first U.S. Professional Training Partner for Solid State Logic (SSL) and is now offering Certified SSL Training focused on modern digital audio workstation (DAW) mixing workflows.
The new Mixing with SSL program is designed for intermediate to advanced users of Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio and other digital audio workstations. According to ProMedia Training, the course teaches participants how to apply SSL’s console-inspired mixing techniques using the company’s software tools.
Available through live online instruction and in-person classes in Los Angeles and Miami, the 16-hour course includes one year of access to more than 100 SSL and Slate Digital plugins, along with more than 50 hours of supplemental SSL training videos. Select in-person sessions will also include hands-on training with large-format SSL consoles.
The first live online Certified SSL Training course is scheduled for Sept. 19, 20, 26 and 27. Participants must already be proficient in Pro Tools or another professional DAW or have completed ProMedia Training’s Pro Tools 101/110 coursework.
