BrightSign Launches BrightSign Control Plus on Amazon Web Services

BrightSign launched BrightSign Control Plus, a premium tier of its management solution for digital signage players, on Amazon Web Services, Inc. The solution aims to deliver advanced fleet management for digital signage networks across retail, restaurant, corporate, healthcare and transportation environments. 

BrightSign Control Plus provides access to health dashboards, automated alerts, system navigation and AI to aid diagnostics. The company said this aims to allow customers to take a proactive approach to fleet uptime and avoid issues with reactive management. 

BrightSign utilizes AWS’ cloud infrastructure to keep costs manageable and scale support to over 300,000 players. This means that BrightSign Control Plus can manage anywhere from a few to thousands of digital signage networks and support simultaneous self-healing, software updates, bulk actions and job scheduling. 

BrightSign Control Plus uses a wide range of AWS services to enable its functionality and support day-to-day operations. These services include Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS & Aurora, Amazon S3, Amazon CloudFront, Amazon GuardDuty, Load Balancing and AWS Control Tower. The company said that building on AWS’ secure platform allows for continuous, built-in security monitoring and consistent governance across BrightSign’s cloud environment, minimizing risk and maintaining uptime.
