Nureva introduced Room Assistant, a new AI-powered feature for Nureva Console designed to help IT and AV teams find information and answers about their Nureva audio systems through a text-based chat interface.
Now in beta, Room Assistant uses natural language processing to connect users with information from Nureva’s knowledge base. Instead of searching through product documentation, IT teams can enter product-related questions directly in Nureva Console and receive responses based on Nureva source content. The feature also provides a path to support when additional assistance is needed.

“IT and AV teams are under pressure to keep every collaboration space performing reliably, but traditional room-management tools often leave them to interpret data and search for answers on their own,” said Nancy Knowlton, CEO of Nureva. “Room Assistant is an important first step in bringing AI-powered room intelligence to Nureva Console, giving teams faster access to trusted knowledge today while laying the foundation for more intelligent, connected and automated experiences across Nureva Console, the Nureva App and our audio systems.”
Room Assistant is part of Nureva’s broader plans to add AI-powered room and device intelligence to Nureva Console. Planned functionality includes room insights, recommendations, voice-based interaction, intelligent optimization and automated diagnostics designed to identify issues and recommend next steps. These capabilities are not included in the current beta.
Nureva Console provides cloud-based device management and monitoring for Nureva audio systems deployed across meeting rooms, classrooms, training spaces and divisible rooms. Room Assistant beta registration is available now at no charge, and participants can provide feedback to help shape future functionality.
