DisplayNote Launcher Brings Meeting Access and Room Calendars to Horion Displays

DisplayNote announced a partnership with Horion that brings DisplayNote Launcher to Horion interactive flat panel displays. The integration combines Horion’s displays with DisplayNote’s meeting room software to provide access to conferencing applications, room calendars and other commonly used meeting tools.

With Launcher available on Horion displays, users can open supported conferencing applications and frequently used tools directly from the display. Meeting schedules can also appear within the Launcher interface, with one-touch access available for starting or joining meetings.

DisplayNote Launcher is designed to provide a consistent interface across shared meeting spaces. For organizations using different conferencing platforms and collaboration tools, the software gives users a common way to access the applications and meetings they need from room to room.

“Great meeting-room hardware is only part of the experience,” said Ed Morgan, CEO of DisplayNote. “What matters to the person walking into the room is whether they can start the meeting, access the tools they need and get on with the conversation without having to think about the technology behind it.”

The integrated solution is intended for corporate and professional meeting spaces, with the companies positioning the combination as a way to bring the display and everyday meeting room workflows into a single interface.
