Legrand | AV announced a new 65W option for its Wiremold Sit-Stand Desk Power lineup, providing desktop charging and under-desk power for height-adjustable workstations. At the desktop, the power center provides up to 65W of shared charging power across two USB-C ports and one USB-A port for laptops, tablets and smartphones. It also includes two tamper-resistant power receptacles and an LED indicator that shows charging status.
Below the desk, users can choose an outlet strip with either four or six 15A receptacles for monitors, docking stations and other peripherals. A coiled cord connects the desktop and under-desk components, extending and retracting as the desk moves between sitting and standing positions.
“Today’s workstations need to keep pace with the devices people bring to them, and that starts with fast, accessible charging that doesn’t disappear when the desk moves,” said Alyssa Adnani, senior product manager, power and furniture at Legrand | AV.
The desktop unit clamps to the work surface without screws, while the under-desk strip mounts with two screws. The system is available in black and white, is ETL Listed to UL 962A and is TAA compliant.
Legrand | AV says the system can be used in corporate offices, classrooms, study areas, libraries, training rooms and home offices. The Wiremold 65W Sit-Stand Desk Power solution is now shipping.
