Jabra Launches Perform 55 Headset and Perform Plus Management Platform for Retail

Jabra announced Perform 55 and Perform Plus, a headset and cloud-based device management platform designed to support communication between store associates while giving IT and operations teams centralized control of shared headsets across retail locations.

Jabra Perform 55 is an over-the-head retail headset that supports push-to-talk and voice-led workflows. Jabra says its microphones block 99% of background noise to support clear communication in busy retail environments. The headset works with push-to-talk platforms including Zebra Workcloud Sync, Zello and Zoom.

The Perform 55 provides up to 20 hours of talk time or 50 hours of push-to-talk use. A 10-minute fast charge provides up to 10 hours of talk time or 25 hours of push-to-talk use. Its Face2Face mode automatically mutes calls and audio when the boom arm is raised, allowing associates to speak directly with customers.

“Retailers are under pressure to keep store associates connected while making growing technology deployments easier for IT to manage across locations,” said Andrew Doyle, vice president for frontline solutions at Jabra. “With Jabra Perform Plus and Jabra Perform 55, we are bringing together the retail communication endpoint and platform behind it for scalable, voice-led store communication.”

Jabra is also introducing the Perform 5-Bay Universal Charging Base, which can charge and organize five compatible Jabra Perform headsets for shared-shift environments.

Jabra Perform 55 and the Perform 5-Bay Universal Charging Base are available now for $229.99 and $249.99, respectively. Perform Plus is expected to become available in early access during the fourth quarter of 2026, with additional functionality planned to follow.
