AVer MT300N Earns Microsoft Teams Certification for Multi-Camera Meeting Rooms

AVer Information Inc. USA announced that its MT300N is now Certified for Microsoft Teams, expanding the company’s lineup of products designed for Microsoft Teams Rooms environments.

The MT300N adds voice-tracking capabilities to AVer PTZ cameras and supports multi-camera switching based on the active speaker. Multiple cameras can be connected to the device, with the MT300N switching between them to keep active speakers in view.

“We’re pleased that the AVer MT300N camera is certified for Microsoft Teams,” said Albert Kooiman, general manager, Teams Partner Engineering and Customer Enablement at Microsoft. “The MT300N supports multi-camera voice-tracking, outputting over a single USB stream and integrates with a broad ecosystem of third-party microphones that are certified for Microsoft Teams.”

The MT300N integrates with Microsoft Teams Certified microphones to provide voice tracking in Teams Rooms. AVer says the device also supports customizable multi-camera switching and multiple camera connectivity options for Teams Rooms and content capture applications.

For installation, the compact MT300N can be placed beneath a table or mounted behind a display using the included surface-mount brackets. An optional accessory also allows the device to be installed in a rack.
