Logitech introduced Rally Speaker 2 Pro and Rally Speaker 2 Max, two new audio systems designed for extra-large conference rooms, boardrooms and training spaces. The speakers feature Logitech’s proprietary Sound Shape technology, which directs sound toward specific listening areas rather than distributing it throughout the entire room.
Rally Speaker 2 Pro uses an array of 32 micro-drivers in a front-mounted soundbar, while Rally Speaker 2 Max expands that configuration to 64 drivers. Sound Shape uses acoustic wave control to direct audio toward listeners while limiting sound in other directions. According to Logitech, the technology helps maintain consistent volume across large rooms without requiring speakers throughout the space.
Logitech also demonstrated a multilingual audio concept currently in development. Using Rally Speaker 2 Max, the company showed how two different audio feeds could be directed toward opposite sides of the same room. For example, participants on one side could hear English while those on the other hear French. Logitech is working with partners to integrate the technology with Interpreter in Microsoft Teams and Voice Translator in Zoom.
“We’ve replaced the brute-force approach of cranking up room volume with wave-field physics, essentially steering sound waves through open air with surgical precision,” said Karthik Rajagopal, head of VC engineering at Logitech.
Rally Speaker 2 Pro and Rally Speaker 2 Max are available for demonstrations at Logitech’s Experience Center in Silicon Valley, with commercial availability planned for summer 2027.
