Legrand | AV has released firmware update 1.2.0 for its Da-Lite Screen Controller, allowing compatible devices to connect to the company’s Unified Cloud Platform for the first time. The update brings centralized monitoring and remote management capabilities to projection screen control systems.
With the update, AV and IT teams can monitor and manage compatible Da-Lite Screen Controllers through the same cloud-based dashboard used for other supported AV and IT devices. This allows users to access screen controllers remotely and oversee equipment across multiple spaces without needing to be on-site.
According to Legrand, bringing Da-Lite Screen Controllers into its Unified Cloud Platform can reduce the number of separate management tools needed to oversee connected AV equipment. According to Legrand, the update is part of its efforts to bring more AV devices into a centralized, IT-integrated management environment.
“This update marks an important evolution of the Unified Cloud Platform, extending centralized remote monitoring and management to our Da-Lite Screen Controllers and further strengthening Legrand’s connected device ecosystem,” said Brian Schwartz, product manager at Legrand | AV.
Firmware update 1.2.0 is software-only and does not require additional hardware or equipment changes. Compatible Da-Lite Screen Controllers remain backward compatible, and the update is available now through the device’s management interface.
