Alfalite introduced SKYPIX RGBW and IM, a new ceiling-mounted LED panel series designed for virtual production and extended reality (XR) environments. The panels combine high brightness and precision control with energy efficiency for demanding studio applications.
SKYPIX features a 3.9mm pixel pitch and delivers up to 9,000 nits of RGB brightness with a 7,680Hz refresh rate. It supports color temperatures ranging from 3,200K to 6,504K and offers a TM-30 color rendering index (Ra) of 90. The average power draw is just 35 watts, with a maximum of 90 watts, providing a low-energy option for extended use in production environments.
A standout feature is Alfalite’s Invisible Marker (IM) system, which eliminates the need for traditional physical tracking markers. Instead, the panels embed virtual markers compatible with existing tracking technologies, allowing for real-time camera synchronization and customizable metadata embedding.
Lighting control is handled through a dedicated application that supports real-time color and intensity adjustments by zone or pixel. Users can save presets for quick recall based on production requirements.
