AtlasIED Introduces Wearable Safety Badge System at ISC West 2026

AtlasIED will introduce its AIX RapidAlert wearable safety system at ISC West 2026, designed for staff and visitors in schools, healthcare and commercial environments to instantly request help during emergencies.

The badge-based solution provides a way to trigger alerts without requiring a phone, app or WiFi connection.

The AIX RapidAlert system includes staff and visitor badges, gateways and location beacons that work together to provide alerting and location awareness across a facility or campus. The system can integrate with AtlasIED’s AIX security platform or be deployed as a standalone solution.

Each badge is designed for everyday use and allows users to send alerts from anywhere on campus. When activated, the system collects location data from nearby beacons and sends it through gateways to a cloud-based platform, identifying who needs help and where they are located.

Staff badges include three buttons for different alert types, while visitor badges include a single help button and can be configured with time and access rules. If those rules are exceeded, the system can notify administrators and provide location information.

Gateways and beacons provide the underlying network, with gateways using wired and wireless connections and beacons operating on Bluetooth Low Energy.

AtlasIED said the system is designed to meet the requirements of Alyssa’s Law, which mandates silent panic alarm systems in schools in several states.

“Empowering staff and visitors with safety and reassurance is a responsibility we take seriously,” said John Ivey, CEO and President of AtlasIED. “Wearable devices give people an immediate, discrete way to call for help, turning a moment of vulnerability into a rapid response that can prevent incidents from escalating and ultimately save lives.”

AtlasIED will showcase the AIX RapidAlert system at ISC West 2026 at booth 30061.
