AVer Information introduced a new Trade-In Program aimed at helping businesses upgrade their video collaboration equipment while promoting sustainable disposal of outdated technology.
The initiative allows organizations to trade in select video collaboration products—including those from competitors such as BirdDog, Canon, Crestron, Cisco, HP Poly, Logitech, Sony, JVC, Lumens, Neat, NewTek, and others—in exchange for credit toward a new AVer solution. Participants also receive a green certificate that documents responsible disposal practices, which can be used toward sustainability goals and certifications.
“We want to make it easier for businesses to upgrade their video collaboration technology while recognizing our responsibility to sustainability,” said Suzanne Thomas, VP of Sales for AVer Information Inc. USA. “The AVer Trade-In Program is a natural extension of our environmental initiatives, offering businesses an easy and rewarding way to transition to next-generation collaboration technology while ensuring old devices are disposed of responsibly.”
To get started, participants complete a trade-in request form. Once approved, AVer assigns a trade-in value. After purchasing a new AVer product, users must provide a certificate of destruction within 30 days to confirm the proper recycling or disposal of the traded-in device.
The AVer Trade-In Program offers several benefits, including reducing electronic waste by recycling older technology and helping minimize environmental impact. The trade-in credit helps offset the cost of purchasing new AVer equipment, making it a cost-effective way to upgrade collaboration tools. In addition, participants receive a green certificate that provides official documentation of their environmentally responsible business practices.
