Casa Boost, a wellness studio in Geneva, Switzerland, has redefined the yoga experience using Christie Captiva DWU500S ultra-short throw laser projectors. Installed by Moonlight Drive in collaboration with The Good Brand, the system turns one wall of the studio into a continuous visual canvas, enhancing meditation and movement sessions with projected imagery that includes landscapes, galaxies, and flowing textures.
The studio’s goal was to move beyond the traditional yoga format and create a space where projection could support the emotional arc of each session. The installation space—a narrow, elongated room with limited projection distance and structural obstacles—required a compact and high-performance projection solution.
“The only way to fully cover the projection area without compromising on focus or brightness was with Christie Captiva,” said Luis Guadalajara, director at Moonlight Drive. “Their ultra-short throw capability was key in avoiding shadows during classes, even when the room is full.”

Two Christie Captiva DWU500S projectors were installed side by side to produce a seamless 9-meter-wide by 2.2-meter-high image. The projectors’ 0.25:1 ultra-short throw lenses, combined with 1DLP laser technology and WUXGA resolution, deliver bright, sharp visuals while minimizing shadows and installation footprint. The system runs at 5,000 lumens and offers up to 20,000 hours of laser life, with onboard edge blending and warping tools to address architectural constraints.
The gray-painted projection surface is used to display looped content tailored to each class, including animated cosmic visuals and calming natural scenes, output at a combined resolution of 3840×1200. According to Casa Boost, the projection becomes “pure magic—no filters, no edits, just you and your body in the magical room.”
The one-day installation was completed using remote planning and 3D simulations. Despite load-bearing columns and a tight timeline, the integration included a dual-output content server, ambient audio, and automated scheduling aligned with the studio’s class routine. “Everything was planned remotely, based on measurements and 3D simulations. We arrived with everything ready, executed in one day, and the results exceeded expectations,” Guadalajara said.
“The client was blown away when they saw the final result on-site,” added Guadalajara. “The reaction was immediate, and the immersive classes have been a real success with the studio’s community.”
The projectors were supplied by Christie partner Charmex. The installation was made possible through The Good Brand, which facilitated the collaboration between Casa Boost and Moonlight Drive.
