Epson and Vivi Partner to Simplify Wireless Sharing and Projection in K-12 Classrooms

Epson and Vivi have announced a partnership intended to simplify wireless screen mirroring and classroom engagement tools for K-12 learning environments. The collaboration combines Epson’s projector lineup with Vivi’s wireless screen sharing and communication platform, providing schools with an option for integrating projection and device-agnostic content sharing.

Epson says the combined solution gives teachers the ability to move around the room, share content wirelessly and allow students to display content from their devices. Vivi’s platform also supports screenshot capture, annotation tools and real-time feedback features. The companies say the partnership also offers flexibility for IT teams through an OS-agnostic design.

“Vivi and Epson share a similar mission to make teaching more impactful, and learning more immersive,” said Natalie Mactier, CEO, Vivi. “The combination of Vivi’s screen mirroring solution and Epson’s vibrant projection, allows schools to easily modernize instruction without adding complexity.”

Epson’s 3-chip 3LCD projectors, including interactive models and higher-brightness options, are designed to deliver bright, high-resolution images on classroom walls and other surfaces. Epson and Vivi say the partnership is intended to support K-12 environments by combining projection with wireless screen sharing to help simplify classroom technology.

Grand Rapids Public Schools implemented Vivi with Epson short-throw projectors as part of a classroom technology update and later expanded the deployment district-wide following initial results.

The solution will be showcased at the CITE 65th Annual Conference in Sacramento, where Epson and Vivi will exhibit their joint workflow. School districts can request a free 90-day trial through Vivi.
