Green Hippo has begun shipping the TEKA MX, a 1U media server designed for small to mid-size live productions. Part of the company’s new Hippotizer MX Series, TEKA MX is a compact, single-output system capable of driving up to 4K resolution without limiting how content is split across outputs.
The unit includes a built-in library of stock content, featuring vibrant new 10-bit NotchLC clips. It also offers 2TB of internal media storage to accommodate high-resolution assets. Fully customizable, TEKA can be configured with optional capture cards, network cards, or GPU upgrades to meet the specific needs of any production.
TEKA MX is part of the full Hippotizer MX Series, which is now shipping. The five-server lineup is designed for dependable, future-proofed performance, offering efficient workflows, high-quality playback, and flexible configuration.
All models in the MX Series support 10-bit playback for accurate color reproduction and are ready for SMPTE 2110 and IPMX workflows. Designed for designers, touring pros and integrators, the servers include rear-chassis illumination, swappable media drives, customizable output options, and an OLED display.
