HP announced plans to integrate the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform into Poly video conferencing systems, IP phones, room controllers and scheduling displays. The integration is designed to deliver more consistent Microsoft Teams experiences while improving security and simplifying device management for IT teams.
By using the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform, HP aims to streamline certification, accelerate product innovation and unify device development across Poly hardware. HP said customers can expect the same audio and video performance found in existing Poly solutions, supported by deeper integration with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft services running on HP hardware.
HP and Microsoft said the collaboration will help deliver smarter and more connected meeting experiences that support productivity, flexibility and accessibility in hybrid work environments.
The announcement builds on HP’s long-standing partnership with Microsoft to advance Microsoft Teams Rooms on both Windows and Android. HP was one of the first companies to introduce Teams Rooms on Windows and brought Teams Rooms on Android to market through the Poly Studio X portfolio.
HP said the integration reflects the companies’ shared commitment to delivering smarter and more intuitive meeting solutions for today’s hybrid workforce.
