Karmine Corp secured the Rocket League title at the 2025 Esports World Cup with a 4-1 victory over Geekay Esports, earning a $400,000 share of the $1 million prize pool.
The win marks the team’s second major championship of the year after taking the Birmingham Major, a strong rebound following their loss to Twisted Minds at the RLCS Raleigh Major.

Karmine Corp set the pace early in the best-of-seven final, jumping to a 3-0 lead without conceding a goal. Geekay fought back to take one game, but Karmine Corp closed out the series on their next match point.
Geekay reached the final after edging Team Vitality in a seven-game semifinal that went into overtime. Karmine Corp advanced by defeating Team Falcons, a result that positions them as a favorite for the 2025 RLCS World Championship.
“I’m feeling great, it was a good match, we played really well, and I’m proud of my team. I love my team. It means a lot [to win], they will have more money now, so that’s a good point. I’m really happy to be in Karmine Corp, and yeah, we just win, so I’m really proud of everyone,” said Axel “Vatira” Touret. Samy “dralii” Hajji was named the SONY MVP, after his incredible performance throughout the duration of the Rocket League featured at EWC 25 event. After accepting his award, he said, “I always play really well in Saudi Arabia, I think it’s the hospitality, and even the tournaments. I love them, they are incredible.” The victory was dralii’s third Rocket League major title, and makes him a back-to-back EWC champion, having won in 2024 with Team BDS.
Karmine Corp also earned 1,000 Club Championship points, moving into a tie for 11th in the standings. Team Falcons finished third after beating Team Vitality in the decider and remain at the top of the championship leaderboard with a 500-point edge over Team Liquid.
