L-Acoustics Expands APAC Headquarters in Singapore, Adds Creative Studio for Spatial Audio

L-Acoustics has opened its expanded Asia-Pacific regional headquarters in Singapore, adding a new L-Acoustics Creative Studio designed for artists and partners to create and test spatial audio content using the company’s immersive sound technology.

Company leaders, including co-CEOs Laurent Vaissié and Hervé Guillaume and Chief People Officer Anne Hamlett, attended the opening, which L-Acoustics says reflects the APAC region’s growing importance to its global operations.

“The Asia-Pacific region represents one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing markets for live entertainment and immersive audio experiences,” said Tim Zhou, CEO APAC at L-Acoustics. “This expansion gives us the infrastructure to better serve our growing community of clients and partners while providing artists and creators with a dedicated space to explore spatial audio. Our L-Acoustics Creative Studio is designed to be a collaborative hub where creativity meets innovation.”

L-Acoustics first established its Singapore operation in 2019 and has since grown to 28 employees across the region. The new 9,000-square-foot headquarters replaces the company’s original co-working office and is intended to support continued growth in touring, installation and creative markets.

The facility includes the L-Acoustics Creative Studio, a 47-square-meter immersive audio room equipped with 23 speakers in frontal, surround and overhead positions. The studio also features L-Acoustics DJ technology for club and festival applications, allowing DJs and electronic artists to prepare spatial sets.

The space gives artists, engineers and sound designers hands-on access to L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound for mixing, content development and collaboration with L-Acoustics specialists.

“We’re not just providing a demonstration space—we’re offering a creative production environment where artists can bring their spatial audio visions to life,” Zhou added. “Whether it’s a touring artist preparing immersive mixes for their live show, a DJ crafting a spatial set for club performances, a sound designer developing content for an installation, or partners wanting to understand how L-ISA can transform their venue, this center is designed to facilitate that creative process.”

The studio will serve as a regional resource for L-Acoustics’ network of clients and certified partners across APAC, including touring productions, festivals, theaters, clubs, houses of worship, theme parks and hospitality venues.

Located in Singapore’s creative district and near Changi Airport, the expanded headquarters is positioned to support client visits, project planning and collaboration. Its proximity to the company’s regional warehouse is intended to streamline logistics and delivery.

“This expansion reflects our long-term commitment to the Asia-Pacific market,” said Laurent Vaissié, co-CEO of L-Acoustics. “As the region’s creative and entertainment industries continue to evolve, we’re investing in the infrastructure and resources needed to support our partners’ ambitions and deliver the exceptional sound experiences that audiences have come to expect from L-Acoustics.”

The Singapore facility joins L-Acoustics’ global hubs in Paris, Los Angeles and London.
