LEA Amplifiers Support Audio Upgrades Across Northern Virginia School District

A public school district in Northern Virginia has upgraded its audio systems using LEA Amplifiers as part of a phased effort to replace outdated AV equipment across its campuses.

The district, which serves tens of thousands of students across more than 100 schools, worked with Artistic Concepts Group (ACG) to develop a rollout plan focused on standardizing audio systems across a variety of spaces, including auditoriums, gyms and cafeterias.

“There was a wide variety of spaces to accommodate, ranging from auditoriums with robust audio systems already in place to gyms and cafeterias with little to no equipment,” said McCormick, Project Developer at Artistic Concepts Group, Inc. “LEA has one of the strongest amp lineups in the industry, so it was natural for us to recommend them.”

ACG installed multiple LEA Connect Series amplifier models across the district to meet the needs of different environments. The amplifiers support both high- and low-impedance speakers, allowing the district to use a single platform across installations rather than separate systems.

ACG’s technical team used LEA’s SharkWare software to configure a base profile and push it to pre-staged amplifiers. The platform also allows users to monitor system status and adjust settings across connected devices.

LEA’s cloud-based management capabilities enable remote monitoring and control of amplifiers without requiring a subscription, helping reduce maintenance complexity for distributed systems.

School and district staff said the upgrades improved audio clarity and provided greater flexibility for instructors in some rooms.

“The form factor of LEA amplifiers is excellent,” McCormick said. “We often have limited space in our existing equipment racks, and the LEA amps help us and our clients save valuable space.”

ACG said it plans to continue using LEA amplifiers for future projects within the district and with other clients.
