Liberty has introduced the DS42 TeamUp+™ Series Multiscreen BYOM Switcher / Extender, a new collaboration solution designed to simplify connectivity across meeting and learning spaces. The system consolidates video, audio, USB, ethernet and power over a single USB-C connection, allowing users to connect seamlessly without adapters or complex setups.
“As organizations continue to embrace bring-your-own-meeting (BYOM) workflows, users expect to walk into a room, plug in their laptop or tablet and instantly access displays, cameras, microphones, speakers and network resources – without adapters or IT assistance,” said Warren Clark, vice president & general manager for Liberty. “The DS42 TeamUp+ Series was engineered to meet that expectation, providing a seamless, single-cable connection that makes professional AV experiences as intuitive as a personal workstation.”
The DS42 supports analog and Dante audio, USB 3.0, ethernet and power delivery through a single USB-C connection. Companion receivers extend signals up to 100 meters and provide additional USB ports and secondary display outputs. The device offers native multi-display extension for both PC and Mac, enabling flexible display configurations in enterprise and education environments.
With a rugged tabletop design, the DS42 is built for high-use collaboration spaces. By unifying multiple signal types through USB-C, Liberty enables faster installation, cleaner setups and consistent performance across shared rooms.
