Midwich Group has launched Consultant Connect, a new global portal designed to support AV consultants with centralized access to technical and industry resources.
The portal debuted during ISE 2026 and was officially unveiled at a launch event held Feb. 2 at El Xalet de Montjuïc in Barcelona. More than 80 consultants from around the world attended the event.
Consultant Connect is designed to streamline access to product information, technical documentation, schematics, training opportunities and industry events. The platform brings together resources for consultants, vendors, integrators and end users, supporting projects from early-stage design through delivery.
While Midwich Group does not sell directly to consultants, the company said the portal reinforces its role in supporting customers and channel partners by connecting information and expertise across the AV ecosystem.
“Consultants play a pivotal role in shaping successful AV projects, yet historically they have needed to navigate fragmented sources of information and disconnected networks. Consultant Connect is our response to that challenge – a single, trusted space that supports consultants with the insights, resources and connections they need to deliver impactful outcomes across the AV ecosystem.”
The launch event also featured presentations and panel discussions focused on the future of AV.
Joe Way of UCLA and HETMA presented “Beyond Borders: Designing Connected Campuses That Deliver Experiences Anywhere,” examining how connected technologies are influencing experience-led design. A panel discussion titled “Shaping Tomorrow’s AV Landscape,” moderated by Peter Herring, technical director for the Middle East at Midwich Group, included Laurent Masia of Netgear, Giorgio Devecchi of Vita Events and Stéphane Tremblay of the SDVoE Alliance.
Midwich Ignite, the company’s investment arm, also shared insights on innovation and targeted investment in AV technologies.
“Consultant Connect is a bold and necessary step in connecting all stakeholders across the AV ecosystem. Consultants play a critical role in shaping the customer journey, and this platform equips them with the right tools to support and empower their work. Designed to simplify access, remove friction, and support projects more effectively, Consultant Connect reinforces our belief that when consultants are empowered, the entire industry benefits.”
Midwich Group said the introduction of Consultant Connect reflects its continued investment in initiatives that foster collaboration and support the evolution of the global AV industry.
