MSolutions will demonstrate a new USB-C extension solution at Integrated Systems Europe 2026 that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over a single category cable and adds up to 60 watts of charging power. The company will show the technology as part of its return to ISE in Barcelona, where it is focusing on simplified cabling for corporate and education environments.
The new MS-DPA-CP is scheduled to ship in the first quarter of 2026. The plug-and-play device extends DisplayPort Alternate Mode over a single category cable and adds up to 60 watts of charging power from the host unit to a connected laptop. MSolutions said the design is intended to reduce cable complexity while supporting modern meeting and learning spaces.
The MS-DPA-CP uses a specialized USB-C port configuration to extend 4K video at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 color along with USB data, without requiring drivers or software. The company said the approach eliminates the need for traditional DisplayPort cables with large connectors and heavy shielding.
“DP Alt Mode is enabled by configuring specific pins on USB-C ports to transmit DisplayPort signals,” said Ariel Marcus, CTO, MSolutions. “Through this specialized configuration, we can eliminate bulky DisplayPort cables with heavy shielding, physical latches and metal connectors protected by large plastic housings.”
MSolutions said the device has been tested with both Mac and Windows systems and is compatible with Neat video collaboration solutions. The company said this compatibility supports streamlined deployment and simplified system management in meeting rooms.
At ISE, MSolutions will also debut its full 1Connect ecosystem in Europe following its introduction at InfoComm earlier this year. The 1Connect platform is designed to simplify long-distance USB-C and HDMI signal transport and support flexible placement of host and device units for bring-your-own-device environments.
The 1Connect lineup includes the MS-63DOC and MS-63DOC-P docking extender kits, which support AV and USB transport between host and device units. The MS-63DOC-P adds support for up to 60 watts of charging power from the host unit.
ISE 2026 takes place Feb. 2–5 at the Fira de Barcelona. MSolutions will exhibit at Stand 1E900.
