GLP Launched the JDC Burst 1, a hybrid LED strobe and wash light designed for professional lighting environments. Built on the form factor of the JDC2 IP, the JDC Burst 1 offers enhanced performance with a white strobe line that is 10% brighter than the JDC1 and delivers additional strobe effects.
The fixture also features two RGBW LED plates, providing improved color rendering and the ability to achieve both saturated colors and pastel tones. The RGBW plates offer granular control with 20 x 240 pixels, arranged in 12 x 4 segments of 5 x 5 pixels each.
Combining the RGBW plates with the strobe line enables simultaneous white light output for more intense visual effects. The JDC Burst 1 is IP65-rated for outdoor use and is designed with a fully enclosed system to resist dust, moisture, and pyrotechnic residue, eliminating the need for internal fans and routine cleaning.
Whether used as a strobe, an intense wash light, or a dynamic effect light – the JDC Burst 1 integrates into any lighting design. As it includes a 180° tilt and control options via DMX, ArtNet, sACN, and GLP iQ.Mesh, The multi-patch function also opens up new possibilities for customized control.
Weighing just 14 kg and featuring ergonomic handles, it is easy to transport and install. With the help of Camlock quick-release fasteners on the arm for vertical mounting, the device can be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of setups – horizontally, vertically, or at creative angles. GLP says the JDC Burst 1 is already shipping and available through authorized distributors.
