OSO Introduces PanoCore 360 Portable Conferencing System

OSO has introduced the PanoCore 360, a portable conferencing system designed to deliver a full panoramic view of meeting spaces through a plug-and-play setup.

The PanoCore lineup is expected to reach the market shortly, with expanded models scheduled to launch in early March. These include the PanoCore 360 AI, which adds AI-based meeting transcription, and the PanoCore Vault, which introduces private data storage.

The PanoCore 360 combines four 1080p cameras to provide continuous 360-degree video coverage of a room. Audio capture is handled by an eight-microphone omnidirectional array, and a built-in HD speaker delivers room-filling sound. According to OSO, one PanoCore device paired with a single computer can support meetings with up to 12 participants without additional hardware.

The system includes an onboard edge AI chip that enables real-time speaker tracking, auto-framing, and local video and audio recording. OSO said the device connects to a secure AI productivity platform powered by ChatGPT-5.

The PanoCore 360 also includes a built-in voice assistant activated by the phrase “Hey Chloe,” allowing users to access AI insights or retrieve information during offline meetings. In addition, the system integrates Microsoft’s translation API to support real-time multilingual communication.

Designed for portability, the unit measures 8.5 by 8.5 by 10 centimeters and is powered via USB-C without the need for external adapters. OSO positions the PanoCore series as a compact, all-in-one conferencing option for teams seeking simplified setup and flexible deployment.
