Pleneo and Sennheiser have announced the availability of two intelligent meeting room kits designed to simplify installation, reduce deployment costs and support AI-ready collaboration in medium and large meeting spaces.
The Pleneo Medium Room Kit and Pleneo Large Room Kit are designed for rooms up to 50 square meters and 90 square meters respectively. The kits aim to address the challenges of delivering consistent, high-quality audio and video performance in larger spaces where multiple participants speak, move and present.
As organizations increasingly rely on AI-driven meeting workflows such as speaker recognition, voice attribution, transcription and meeting analysis, accurate audio capture across the entire room has become critical. Pleneo and Sennheiser said achieving that consistency in larger rooms has traditionally required complex design and manual tuning.
The room kits integrate Sennheiser ceiling microphones into a fully orchestrated Pleneo system to deliver consistent audio pickup across the space. Each kit is built around Pleneo RoomHub, which connects all room endpoints into Pleneo Room OS. The software layer enables zero-touch deployment and automated setup, allowing rooms to be brought online without specialist configuration or manual audio and video tuning.
According to the companies, the system deploys over standard IT infrastructure and incorporates enterprise-grade security and governance frameworks. Pleneo RoomHub applies AI-driven audio processing across the system, including adaptive room tuning, AI NoiseSense, ML-based room enhancement and IQ Voice Enhancement to support clear and intelligible speech regardless of room acoustics or participant behavior.
Video capabilities are delivered through Pleneo RoomVision cameras, which support AI speaker tracking and autoframing. The cameras automatically follow active presenters and maintain natural framing without disruptive movement, allowing audio and video to operate as a coordinated system rather than independent components.
Rooms are provisioned, configured, monitored and managed centrally through Pleneo Cloud. IT teams can manage rooms directly within the platform or integrate room data and events into existing IT service management and operations tools.”
