Telycam has introduced Mix One, an all-in-one video production solution designed to streamline PTZ-centric workflows for live streaming, podcasting and small to mid-sized studio production.
Mix One combines an encoder, decoder, monitor, video switcher and PTZ controller into a single compact unit. The system is built on AV-over-IP architecture and supports NDI HX, SRT, RTMP and RTSP for low-latency IP video over standard networks without external converters or capture cards.
The platform supports up to six video sources, allowing users to mix IP streams with physical inputs, including two HDMI connections supporting up to 4K at 60 frames per second and one USB-C input up to 1080p60. For bidirectional IP workflows, Mix One supports NDI HX, SRT, RTMP and RTSP for both input and output.
On the audio side, the system includes one stereo line input and one XLR analog input with adjustable gain and routing controls for integration into professional audio environments.
An 8.8-inch LCD touchscreen provides real-time preview, audio management, graphics tools and system configuration. A browser-based interface mirrors the on-device controls, enabling remote setup and management across the network.
Mix One includes live production tools such as program and preview switching, picture-in-picture layouts and transition effects. Built-in graphic templates include titles, lower thirds, clocks and rolling subtitles, with customizable layers that can be saved as presets.
For recording, Mix One supports local recording up to UHD resolution to external USB flash drives, HDDs and SD cards. A dual-NIC design separates the dedicated production network from the customer’s general network, helping ensure stable operation and uninterrupted streaming in complex or bandwidth-sensitive environments.
Designed for PTZ-based production, Mix One communicates directly with PTZ cameras via VISCA, VISCA over IP, NDI and serial protocols. A hall-effect joystick enables camera movement control, and image parameters such as exposure, white balance and color can be adjusted directly from the switcher interface.
Telycam said Mix One is expected to begin shipping in April.
